Quotables is a simple site that allows users to showcase and save their favorite memorable quotes. Quotables was founded in July of 2010 out of Glasgow. The Quotables team currently consist of around five individuals, including producer Laura Grace. The site was intended to provide users with a way to share and save their favorite quotes. It also offers a great resource to locate that perfect quote for any occasion.

The header features light blue icons along with a light blue and white background throughout the homepage. A dark pink header and stylish quotation mark heart add a lot of character. Featured quotes are presented along with a credit to the author and matching avatar featuring the author.
New users can register for a Quotables account by clicking on the pink “Sign Up” button found along the header at the top, right hand corner of the homepage. The brief registration form requires a username, email address and password. A short note at the bottom of the form with a check box signs the user up to take par tin feedback during the site’s beta period. Users can uncheck this box if they do not wish to receive future requests for feedback. After entering the information, the user can click the light blue “Sign Up” button at the bottom of the form to submit the information. The last step requires an email verification to finish.
Quotables offers a simple service that works well. The site relies heavily on user participation. It also does not offer anything that would really warrant a subscription fee or other charges. Luckily, the site’s creators offer account for free. There are no fees for registering or doing anything on the site.
